God chastises Obama supporters; reminds flock that Obamania is not actual religion

Barack Obama

Residents of Madison, Wisconsin were shocked to see God take to their streets today. The purpose of this rare public appearance? “I’m just trying to remind everyone that while Senator Barack Obama might be hopeful, he’s not actually the Messiah,” God said. He went on to clarify that his son still holds that title.

Obamania is the name given to the wildly reverent support behind Illinois Senator Barack Obama. Many have claimed the enthusiasm borders on the fanatical. One woman upon hearing God’s message called out from across the street, “Obama is the hope we need for change!”

God responded to the woman, “I am the one and only. Place your hope in me.” The woman did not respond as she had not even stopped walking and disappeared into a Gap store. Many onlookers felt bad for the Creator’s position, but noted they were still casting a vote for Obama as a vote for salvation.

Don’t place your hope in god, he’s the worst kind of person you want in charge. Just look at all the crap he let happen.
